Cady Finlayson has brought her sweet and

states and four countries.

Cady holds a Masters degree from Mannes College
of Music. She is a recipient of the Presidents
Award in Irish music studies from the University
of Limerick, and on the music faculty at the
United Nations International School.
One
of Americas top Celtic fiddlers,
(New Age Voice Magazine) Cadys band includes
three time All-Ireland button accordion champion
John Redmond, who was also the Co. Wexford Champion
on button accordion for nine consecutive years.
Singer Mari Reisberg performed throughout the
U.S. and Australia before joining the Cady Finlayson
Band. Guitarist Kyle Sanna, who is also a film
composer, and bodhrán player/percussionist
Tim Alworth, who studied at the University of
Limerick, round out the line-up. Cady performs
with Champion Irish stepdancers, who are available
upon request.
Cady
Finlayson has performed in over twenty-five
states and in Ireland, Greece, and the Caribbean
at festivals, concert series, and on film soundtracks
such as the Irish movies The Emerald Diamond
and Snakes and Ladders. She has
been a guest artist on CDs by Pierce Turner,
piper John Bradley (Dead Poets Society), and
the Police Pipes and Drums of Bergen County,
and has performed live with Pierce Turner, Sean
McCabe, Jodee James, Ffynnon, and other well-known
Celtic groups. Cadys performance of Silent
Night is on the NPR recording, Peace
on Earth Holiday Folk Tour with Judy Collins.
Cadys
two albums, Shines Like Silver and
Harp and Shamrock have been played
on over 400 radio stations in North America,
Europe, and Australia. Currently at work on
her third album, music critic Michael Allison
